This assignment comprised a significant international research and bench-marking component, combined with the identification of high priority use cases in conjunction with business and government agency stakeholders.
This work has contributed to initiatives at the national and state level which are designed to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of online identity verification in health and human services, the national management of civil registration information (such as birth, marriage, change of name and death certificates) and in relation to the adoption of cloud services and social media in the context of trusted and high risk transactions.
Smartnet has highly skilled practitioners and extensive expertise in business case development, business process modelling, identity strategy and trust models. Smartnet is appointed to specialist government panels for business case development and evaluation and Smartnet personnel are members of the Risk Management Institute of Australia and sit on the National Consultative Committee on Security and Risk and the National Cloud Computing Consultative Committee.
